The Multimodal Monitoring Center is a state-of-the-art space that has a high-definition Videowall and advanced GPS technology, from which a team of trained operators permanently monitors its different fleets of units, agilely interpreting the video material and the series of data that show the geofences (virtual geographical delimitations) established for the units.
This allows them to accurately record and manage the movements made by their trucks and, therefore, react immediately to any type of mishap or extraordinary event that could occur during the different journeys; preventing the merchandise of its logistics partners from being at risk and, in turn, allowing them to obtain a mirror account that allows them to stay aware of the routes of their loads in real time.
This is one of the key tools that make up the company’s strategic security plan; which will be complemented in the coming months with their participation in the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification program, with which they seek to strengthen the security of their logistics and transportation operations through the implementation and compliance of a series of security standards. and administrative processes, aimed at mitigating risks and/or illegal acts.
Thanks to this certification, Multimodal Logistics of Altamira (MLA), the segment dedicated to foreign transportation of Multimodal, will soon be recognized as a secure company before the customs authority, being endorsed as such by its logistics partners and continuing as it has been for more than two decades. with its primary task, that of making Logistics that gives Confidence!
